Together, we arrive at the design, fully developed in 3D.

Preperations

I work out the technical details, request quotes and draw up the schedule.

The build

The craftspeople get to work. I stay in charge, and you receive regular updates.

Furnishing

The furniture, lighting and fabrics arrive, and I style everything down to the last detail.

Completion

We walk through your new interior together. You'll receive a folder with details of all the materials, warranties and care advice.

Can you work with my own contractor or kitchen supplier?

Absolutely. If you already have someone you'd like to work with, I'll get in touch with them. I also have an extensive network of skilled craftspeople I trust to deliver the best possible result, and I'm happy to bring them in for you.

Which area do you cover?

Studio Decor is based in Ommen, and I work mainly in Overijssel and the surrounding area. Live further away? Feel free to get in touch and we'll see what's possible. Please note that travel time and expenses are charged for locations more than 40 km from Ommen.

How long does a project take?

That depends on the package and the size of your home. Essence is a single two-hour consultation in your home. A Signature project takes 4 to 6 weeks on average, from our first meeting to the final design. With Complete, I stay involved until the work has been completed, so the overall timeline also depends on your contractor's and suppliers' schedules. In our first conversation, we'll put together a realistic timeline together.

How many revisions can I request?

Signature and Complete both include two rounds of revisions on the design: one after the interim presentation and one after the final presentation. This is usually more than enough, as we discuss what you're looking for in detail beforehand. If you'd like to make further changes after that, additional time is charged, always in consultation with you, of course.

How does payment work?

Each package has a fixed price, so you know exactly where you stand from the start. This is based on an average floor area and the appointments included. If your home falls outside this, I'll prepare a tailored quote. Additional work, such as selecting furniture for you, is charged by the hour, and we'll always agree on this together first.

What if my home is larger than 120 m²?

The package prices are based on a home of up to 120 m² with an average level of complexity. If your home is larger or more complex, I'll put together a custom price, so you only pay for what your project actually requires.

Can I upgrade to Complete later on?

Yes, you can. If you start with Signature and decide you'd like support during the build phase after all, you can upgrade to Complete. Whatever you've already paid will be deducted from the price of Complete.

How does purchasing furniture and materials work?

Furniture, materials and the actual building work are not included in the package price. You purchase these yourself, from suppliers of your choice or from the partners I recommend. If you'd like help selecting or ordering, I'm happy to take care of it. We'll agree on a separate fee for this, unless you've chosen the Complete package, in which case it's already included.
